Oh Possumlady--so so sorry. One of the most difficult things we have to do in this life is say goodbye to sweet pets.
There really are no words.

My heart is breaking for your loss.
I'm sure your other cats will miss Butterball too. It's so hard to say good-bye. Hugs to you!

Hey Possumlady. I just checked my email and found your comment.

I'm so sorry about Butterball. It's so hard to say goodbye, no matter how much time you may have had to "prepare." You had a good'un and so did Butterball. A thought which I hope will bring you comfort in the days to come.

Pet your other kitties bald!

I am so sorry about Butterball. I am new to your blog and enjoy it very much because we have love of animals in common. It is heartbreaking when our furry babies leave us. My thoughts are with you. Lisa

Oh...I am so, so sorry. We lost one of our beloved pets this month, so I know how you feel. It's hard to say good-bye.

So, much of Butterball reminds me of our Annie.
Her passing in December after 15 years was hard on all of us.
I know how much you will miss Butterball. The big orange cats offer us a very special love!

Thinking of you.

Possumlady,

Donna sent me here on Tuesday but I could not open your site.

I'm so sorry...you cared for Butterball so well. The loss of a pet is a terrible thing...

That's all I can say.

Hugs,
Mary

Thank you all so very very much for your kind words. Every once in a while there comes along an exceptional animal into your life. I was so very lucky to have found Butterball. He was unlike any other cat I've known which makes his passing that much harder to bear.
