For My Mother

Who passed away three years ago today......

"Things neither come nor go. Things don't move. It is we who go to them. Only the spirit travels. Memory is not an eye that returns to the past; it is rather the power that allows us to see what is, in its essence, outside of time...."

That's a lovely thought.
In memories how we truly understand the essence.
Thinking of you today.

It's tough to remember, I know. My Mom left us almost two years ago. I understand...

Thanks everyone. It still feels a bit discombobulating with both parents gone. Like a 48 year old orphan.

Christine, Big hugs to you! Its so hard to lose a mom. My mom left 10 years ago..and I still miss her so much. But I know, deep in my heart, that she is with me every single time I think of her.

Yes, Mom gone and Dad in a nursing home. I'm on the verge of "orphaned".

Hello! I know how you feel. I am a 40 year old. I have noticed lately that when I go to call my friend Barb, I start dialing my mom and dad's phone number. Sometimes I look at old photos, smile at the fond memories and I don't feel so alone. Well thanks for letting me share. Have a good day. Lisa
