Look What I Won!

A box arrived yesterday from Moki's mom filled with all sorts of cat goodies. I won a raffle that was held to help with Moki's medical expenses. I must tell you that Possumlady NEVER wins ANYTHING, so this was such a delight and a total surprise. And, the very best news is that Moki is feeling much better. He is eating and drinking again and even walking around a bit. His temperature is still not up to the normal levels but it is not dropping dangerously low either.
I'd like to show you everything I received but the cat magnets are already on my fridge. The cute cat plate was used last night to serve some leftover turkey treats to the gang. The pottery bowl is absolutely beautiful! Did someone in the CB make that too? I just love that some of the things are home made.

Here's Chloe checking out the box after flipping around the cute little catnip mouse. The book "The World is your Litter Box" is now sitting on my bedside table waiting to be read.

Chloe again, reaching for the homemade catnip fishy. Sweet Pea (you can see his ears) is waiting for a chance to pounce on it.

Here is Figaro testing the huge catnip filled pillow and catnip fishy on the beautiful homemade cat blanket/bed.

I'm just glad that I was able to help Moki's family in a small way. My cats are VERY happy I did too!

Woo hoooo--Thanksgiving brings goodies for all.
Glad to know Moki is feeling better (and warmer).
KGMom never wins anything either--so I sympathize and say HOORAY for winning this once.
OK--time to buy a lottery ticket!

On another note--I am reading how residents in your part of the country are renting out rooms for the Inauguration. A way to make a buck or two!

Oh, we are so glad every thing arrived alright and that your kitties liked the package. The catnip stuff toys and ceramic bowl where made by Peggy from Peggy's Place. We think she did an awesome job. The fleece blanket was made by Tesla who also did an awesome job.

Hey there. Enjoyed the video of Figaro. The cat blanket looks very nice. Is Chloe a relatively new cat? She looks adorable. I don't remember her. Cat59

Donna, I'm always torn about buying lottery tickets. I have a number of friends that buy one a week. I just can't bring myself to purchase one. But, maybe my luck has changed!!

You have NO idea what some of the places are going for around here for inauguration! It's really obscene. At first, I was so excited and wanted to get a group to attend. It really is such a historic event. But, every night the local news talks about how terrible everything will be. Now they are telling locals to NOT use the subway and try to drive down and park somewhere. I could easily park in my office parking garage and it's a short walk to the White House and Pennsylvania Avenue, but I have no idea if I'll be even able to get to my office or not?

Crystal, thank you again for the box. Yes, the CB is full of incredibly talented people.

Hey Cat59, no Chloe has been around for a number of years. She is one (of many) that came over from my neighbor Karin's place. She's a shy, wee girl so she is not often photographed!

Hi T, thanks for stopping by again! Yes, I'm still so thrilled to have won such a great raffle.

Hi Margaret, thanks also for stopping by. Although I can't take any credit, yes, I do think my cats are all adorable too!

You have to admire a cat's preternatural ability to occupy oneself ... even without "freebies." Congratulations on big win.
